ADATA announces a new series of SSDs called LEGEND, designed for a wide range of users and content creators that require new, reliable and long-lasting SSDs, using different budgets. The LEGEND series includes three SSD models in M.2 configuration: 740,750 and 840. In addition, a new DDR5 memory module was announced and an especially advanced SD memory card for use with cameras and photo aids and content creation.
LEGEND series
LEGEND 740 and 750 drives use the PCIe Gen3 x4 and NVMe 1.3 standards to deliver read and write speeds of up to 2,500 / 2,000 and 3,500 / 3,000 MB per second, respectively, giving users and content creators the performance they dreamed of, for a gaming experience. Ultra-fast and easy storage and use. Their M.2 2280 connection supports the latest Intel® and AMD platforms for perfect compatibility with even the latest PCs, including workstations and laptops, and the use of editing software and games with demanding requirements. For users looking for an extra boost, the LEGEND 840 takes advantage of PCIe Gen4 x4 and NVMe 1.4 to offer read and write speeds of up to 5,000 / 4,500 MB per second.
Excellent productivity
LEGEND series drives are equipped with SLC Caching and Host Memory Buffer technology for perfect productivity. This advantage gives them random write speeds of K4 readings of up to 180 / 200K, 480 / 260K, 440 / 400K, respectively.
Protected, accurate and reliable
All three SSDs are equipped with an elegant heatsink with modern design elements. The heat sinks not only look great, but also help lower temperatures by 15% for optimum performance and stability.
With 256-bit AES encryption, SSDs ensure accurate data transmissions and offer more powerful security. LEGEND series SSDs use only high quality ICs that have been rigorously tested for maximum durability. For added peace of mind, they will be marketed with a 5-year warranty.
PS5 support
The LEGEND 840 drive can also be installed on the PS5 game console as a secondary drive, giving users more storage space and a smoother game load. (* This product has been tested and approved as compatible with PS5. Actual speed may vary depending on hardware and software configurations).

LEGEND drives will be available in a range of volumes up to 1TB. Details about prices and arrival in Israel have not yet been provided.
ADATA DDR5-4800 memory
The ADATA DDR5-4800 memory module continually increases the memory performance of a computer. It provides increased bandwidth, assigns more bandwidth to each CPU core, and reaches frequencies of up to 4800MT / s. The DDR5 architecture allows for more memory allocations per task, so any action or task on the computer becomes smooth and agile at unprecedented speeds. The memory module is currently available in a capacity of 8, 16 or 32 GB and larger volumes are expected to be launched later.

Moreover, it is equipped with PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) and On-die ECC (error correction code) on the board for optimal system stability.
ADATA Premier Extreme SDXC SD 7.0 Express memory card
Thanks to the latest SD 7.0 specifications, the ADATA Premier Extreme SD 7.0 Express card gives users a revolutionary memory card that supports PCIe and NVMe, making it a kind of SSD mini. With support for PCIe Gen3 x1 and NVMe, this memory card delivers read / write performance of up to 800 / 700MB / s, which is about 1.5 times faster than SATA SSDs. Compared to UHS-II SD cards and UHS-I SD cards, it is about 2.7 and 8 times faster, respectively.
